Prof. Lerman is the Director for the Center of Coronary Physiology & Imaging as well as the Chest Pain & Coronary Physiology Clinic. He has been involved in CV research in CAD and imaging as well as in the development and application of invasive and non-invasive CV imaging for over 20 years. He is the principal investigator on several NIH grants addressing the effect of inflammation and endothelial progenitor cells on vascular aging, function and structure and is the author of more than 350 papers in this area.
